Medical treatment contents and features
We provide 24-hour intensive care
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has 10 beds and a dedicated intensivist provides treatment 24 hours a day. In addition, the Registered Nurse assigned is larger than that of general wards, and monitors are installed in each bed so that the layout is such that changes in each patient's condition can be constantly grasped. We have a system in place for treatment. In October 2014, we started operation of 6 beds of HCU, and together with ICU, we are providing more generous treatment and nursing for critically ill patients.
Providing appropriate medical care to each patient
We hold a conference every morning to understand the situation of each patient and examine the policy with the intensive care doctor and the doctor in charge. Patients who need to be treated at an intensive care center often have diseases that span multiple organs, so team medical care consisting of multiple professions such as Pharmacist, Clinical Dietitian, and Clinical Engineer General condition management is performed.

Features of our intensive care center
We have 10 ICU beds and 6 HCU beds that have been approved for specific intensive care unit management fee I.
Over 1,000 patients are admitted to the ICU annually, 400 patients are placed on ventilators per year, 200 patients undergoing blood purification therapy per year, and 20 patients undergoing PCPS/ECMO per year.
The number of patients with severe cardiovascular disease who require assisted circulation and intensive care is also increasing year by year.
"Completely closed ICU"
From postoperative care to emergency patients both inside and outside the hospital (such as those with heart failure, acute respiratory failure, acute renal failure, and severe infections), intensive care doctors provide total care, managing not only breathing and circulation but also infection and nutrition.
Intensive Care does not have any duties other than intensive care, outpatient (ER) or ward work, so it can focus on treating a variety of seriously ill patients.
The intensive care center works in cooperation with the rapid response team to prevent patients from suddenly deteriorating within the hospital.
From next year, we will also be working with emergency physicians at the emergency center to manage intensive care.
"Team Medical Care"
The dedicated doctor works closely with the patient's primary physician and manages the patient's entire body as a team that transcends professional boundaries through multi-disciplinary conferences with Registered Nurse, a dedicated Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, a dedicated registered Clinical Dietitian, Clinical Engineer, and infectious disease specialists.
Intensive Care 's dedicated physicians are from multiple universities and have subspecialties in not only anesthesia, but also emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery.
Anyone with an interest in intensive care can become a specialist under the supervision of an intensive care specialist, even if they have no experience in the field.
Our multiple doctor (team) system provides seamless medical care and clearly defines on- and off-time, allowing us to maintain "work-life balance."
