About Cardiovascular Surgery
The whole team, with all their might
We perform surgical and endovascular treatments for aortic disease, valvular heart disease, and coronary artery disease. We also provide 24/7 support for cardiovascular emergency cases. Cardiovascular Surgery, Anesthesiology, intensive care physicians, Clinical Engineer, and operating room Registered Nurse are always on-site, and we practice team medicine to provide fast and safe surgical treatments.
Diseases seen in Cardiovascular Surgery
Valvular disease, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, thoracic aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, cardiovascular trauma, arrhythmia, congenital heart disease, etc.
Medical treatment contents and features
Minimally invasive treatment options
The biggest advantage of our hospital is that we have staff who are well versed in both minimally invasive and conventional surgical treatments. We select the most appropriate treatment for each patient, taking into consideration their overall condition and surgical risks. Depending on the patient's condition, we perform aortic stent graft treatment and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
About Aortic Disease
We mainly treat aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections. For diseases that require emergency surgery, we work with the emergency medical center to perform surgery promptly. We also actively perform minimally invasive treatments such as aortic stent graft treatment (treatment in which an artificial blood vessel is placed in the aorta). Depending on the case, we treat patients without cutting the groin area, leaving an incision of about 5 mm.

About Valvular Disease
For aortic valve disease and mitral valve disease, we perform artificial valve replacement surgery, mainly using biological valves, and valve repair surgery to preserve the patient's own valve depending on the case. For young patients with relatively low risk, we also perform minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS, small incision surgery). For high-risk patients, we also perform transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) in collaboration with Cardiology.

About Coronary Artery Disease

About the NCD Business
In order to improve the health of our patients and raise the level of clinical practice, our hospital participates in the database project run by the National Clinical Database, a general incorporated association. If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to ask your doctor.
