The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare launched the "Training System for Registered Nurse Regarding Specific Actions" in the fall of 2015. Nurse Practitioner are expected to play an active role as key persons in maintaining the quality of medical care in the aging society that will continue to accelerate in the future.
They are able to perform a wider range of medical procedures than traditional Registered Nurse, and will open up a new stage in medical care with their high-level skills and nursing spirit.

Children have a greater ability to sense things than adults. Also, children who are fighting illnesses are under a great deal of stress, even if they don't say it out loud. That's why it goes without saying that proper care is so important. My mission is to pay close attention to the on-site staff so that they can provide nursing care that takes into account the child's growth, the state of the illness, and their relationship with their family. I hope that sick children, as well as healthy children, and their families will have more smiles.

At our hospital, certified palliative care Registered Nurse, certified cancer pain Registered Nurse, and certified breast cancer Registered Nurse work together as a palliative care team. The team is prepared to support patients' bodies and minds from the time they are diagnosed with cancer. We want to minimize the painful physical and mental symptoms that accompany the progression of cancer. We are sympathetic to the feelings of these patients and their families, and strive to help as many people as possible to cope with cancer pain effectively and improve their quality of life.

We aim to provide non-restraining care so that elderly people who are prone to developing delirium as a result of hospitalization can live their hospital stay in safety and security. We also provide discharge support in collaboration with a range of professions so that patients can be discharged early to their preferred location. It is also important to respect the wishes of elderly people and to support their families and caregivers. We work with local groups, related organizations, and medical teams to address both the individual case and the system perspectives.
In an environment where medical care is becoming increasingly sophisticated and specialised, we work alongside medical staff on the ground, providing the knowledge and skills we have learned in each field so that patients can receive treatment with peace of mind and enjoy their recovery.
Currently, our hospital has 6 Nurse Practitioner, 20 area-specific Registered Nurse, 11 specialist Registered Nurse, 30 certified Registered Nurse, 4 certified nursing managers, 14 advanced Midwife, and 2 Psychiatry certified Registered Nurse certified by the Japan Psychiatry Nursing Technique Association.
