[Healthy Citizen Yokohama Open Lecture] Blue Clover Campaign 2021
At our hospital, we are holding a "Blue Clover Campaign" to call for early detection and early treatment of prostate cancer.
We are publishing a commentary video by Dr. Masaru Ishida, a Urology, in order to have correct knowledge about prostate cancer, and to reduce the number of people who are diagnosed in advanced stages and lose their lives as much as possible.
In addition, free PSA screenings will be available for men aged 40 and over for a limited time from October 18th to October 29th.

The number of patients with prostate cancer, which increases with age, is rapidly increasing, and it is predicted that prostate cancer will be the number one cancer in men this year as well. Due to the coronavirus, there are concerns about refraining from undergoing medical examinations and medical examinations, but since prostate cancer has almost no symptoms in the early stages, regular examinations are important for early detection.
What is a PSA test?
A test for the early detection of prostate cancer. PSA is an abbreviation for prostate specific antigen, and it measures the amount of a substance called PSA protein secreted by the prostate in the blood.
