Pharmacist from our hospital contributed an article entitled "Pharmacists' efforts regarding drug therapy for pregnant and lactating women with psychiatric disorders," which was published in the June issue of "Psychiatry Treatment 32(6); 755-759, 2017" (Seiwa Publishing). The article was published in the special feature "Perinatal Mental Care: How to Build Pharmacist Collaboration."
It is not easy for patients, let alone medical professionals, to judge the effects of medication on children. In this article, Pharmacist will consider the background and medical condition of patients, and based on pharmaceutical information such as scientific data on the effects of medication on children, we will discuss the appropriate support for drug therapy for pregnant and breastfeeding women with psychiatric disorders. Please read it.
