The 75th Saiseikai Gakkai/ 2022 Saiseikai General Assembly was held on February​ ​11th and 12th at Pacifico Yokohama North, with approximately 2,370 people attending from all over Japan. The President of Saiseikai, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Akishino, attended the General Assembly on the afternoon of the 12th and gave a speech.

It was the first time in three years that the Saiseikai Gakkai was held locally, and the first time that our hospital served as the hospital in charge. With Dr. MISUMI　Takahiko Misumi as the president of the society, the conference was held under the theme of “Design Our Next Road​–Transformation of Saiseikai”.

​In the keynote speech, Mr. Yumitsu Kitagawa, Executive Director of Keio University and Professor of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, gave a lecture on the theme of "Future vision of hospitals in the DX era-A trial as an AI hospital model facility-".

The symposium was chaired by Dr. Koichi Nakao, director of the Saiseikai Kumamoto Hospital, who discussed medical digital transformation and work style reform with four other panelists, including Mr. Toshimi Hyodo, counselor for the Chiba Prefecture Saiseikai branch.
In a special feature titled "New Coronavirus Infection and the Saiseikai," Hideaki Anan, Director of Kanagawa Prefecture and Head of Medical Crisis Response, gave a lecture on "The state of Japan's health crisis management system as seen from the COVID-19 medical response," while Ryo Matsubara, Director of the Saiseikai Headquarters, gave a lecture on "The role of the Saiseikai Hospital as a public medical institution in COVID-19 medical care."
　　　　

The special lectures featured actor and weather forecaster Yoshizumi Ishihara and astronaut Chiaki Mukai, special vice president of Tokyo University of Science and special advisor to the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
