With the rapid increase in COVID-19 in Kanagawa Prefecture, the beds in Yokohama are becoming tighter, making it difficult for corona patients and general emergency patients to be hospitalized. In response to such a situation, the prefectural governor recently requested to expand the number of beds that accept severe and moderate corona patients, and to postpone some medical treatment that doctors have determined can be postponed.

As a core hospital in Yokohama City and as a hospital of "Saiseikai group", this hospital is a hospital that mainly provides acute care and various highly specialized medical care centered on critical care centers and intensive care centers.

In order to fulfill that mission, we will adjust the schedule for hospitalization and waiting-list examinations / operations that the doctor has determined can be postponed, and then accept patients with severe or moderate corona who require inpatient treatment. We will continue to expand and maintain the general emergency medical system.
