YOKOHAMA premium lunch box provided
On March 2nd, the Find Your YOKOHAMA “Restaurant” project (representative organization: NPO Yokohama Gastronomy Council) provided our hospital with a total of 400 “YOKOHAMA Premium Lunch Boxes.”
This project was made possible by chefs from restaurants in the city who wanted to send encouragement to the medical workers who are fighting on the front lines every day, saying, "Let's get through this together!"
In addition to the bento boxes, the Yokohama City Western Confectionery Association also provided baked goods.
We presented a letter of thanks from our hospital, and the chefs presented a book of messages of support from the children of Yokohama Honmachi Elementary School (a copy of the book was also included with the lunch boxes).
The chefs, wearing masks, face shields and gloves, handed the lunches out to the staff themselves.
Many staff members were seen responding to the chef's words of "Do your best!" with smiles on their faces and sumptuous bento boxes in hand, saying "Thank you very much" and "Itadakimasu (thank you for the meal)."
The event was a great success, with all 400 lunches distributed in less than 30 minutes.
The delicious lunches, filled with love and care from the chefs, gave the staff the energy to keep working hard.
Thank you so much for your warm support for medical workers and for the delicious lunch box!
